What Get More Out of College Is All About?
Although I love tutoring and instructing, I especially love to provide people with free information in my field of study or experience. So feel free to bookmark my blog, or follow me on twitter or Facebook. I'd love to read any information you may have as well in regards to health, medicine, diseases, college education or business growth and marketing strategies. Just to be very clear and specific before you get very excited. A tutor and supplementary instructor at UT Arlington is a successful student. One who has overcome the challenge and trial of a difficult course. Not an expert in the given course! I'm a former tutor and biology supplementary instructor at the University of Texas at Arlington.
So enjoy the tools I have put together for you. Test your understanding
with the question and exercises. Feel free to contact you professor with any
questions that may seem contrary or hard to understand. Please do not hesitate
to contact me with any comments, thumbs up or thumbs down, I'd certainly
love to know if this hard work is helping any. Enjoy,
El Arrey
Getting The Most Out Of College Sciences: It is true, going through college is very tough and could be very challenging or even discouraging. There is a great change in style of learning, coming from high school to the college level. There is a new deal of pressure from peers, relatives, and even immediate family to be 'successful.' There is a new scope of life and what it all means--which profoundly affects what an individual decides to pursue for the rest of their life (we call this a career). There is also a new definition of 'self.' We all begin to define what we want to be or who who are going to be for the next chapter of our lives. With all these going on, I have put together these website to help (primarily science) students get the most out of college. How to make every class a stepping stone to new heights and how to stay motivated through it all. It's all about endurance. So on my blog, your going to find support materials from college/university professors. From making an A in a class (study skills and tips) to getting a letter of recommendation. Its FREE to you...schooling is already expensive enough! :)
Biological Sciences: As a former tutor and instructor for the college biological sciences at UTA, I know some subject materials are challenging and others need lots of practice in order for the material to sink in. So I have uploaded my old hand outs, my own old exams, and practice questions for some of the classes I have tutored. I have also added extra material to help the regular Biology college major overcome the challenge of understanding some of these materials. Please, these materials are meant to supplement your personal readings and studies NOT replace them. Take advantage to them and enjoy!
